We start every day with an empty cup.
It is about what we bring to our cup, and what we put in it …. is what we want it to be.
It is about the connections we have, and our ability to appreciate what we put in our cup … the people we love, the people we learn from, the experiences, the places we take ourselves, our beliefs, our strengths and values – everything we put in our cup is our responsibility!
Our cup also synonymous with sharing stories that come from the heart – about what and who matters in our lives. It brings the internal process to the external and it brings us together in every culture of the world.
‘Compassion in a Cup’ means coming together to create relationships where inclusion, compassion and empowerment are a way of ‘BEING’. It is recognizing our common humanity – seeing that we are all human with our own struggles, hopes and needs.
Compassion is a desire to care for, support, and value other people just as WE would like to be cared for, valued, and supported.
So, by gathering together and learning from one another, we fill our cup with compassion and add joy and meaning to all our lives. Every day as we fill our cup, we remind ourselves that we are not alone, that we are loved and that we all seek to find meaning and purpose for our lives.
It is about celebrating and caring for the people in our ‘cup’ because one of the greatest gifts we have in life is each other.
